This past year has exceeded my expectations by far! There have been moments of joy, moments of difficulty and moments shared, but above all I thank you all for letting me share my days, creativity and constant adventure with you all!
I managed to create an ebook, A Backyard Summer: Grain, Gluten and Refined Sugar Free Recipes for Summer Entertaining, and launch a new product line starting with the winter months of a Watercolor Calendar Printable Bundle. I also am so excited to announce that I wrote a cookbook with a group of bloggers called The Paleo Community Cookbook! It is filled with 1,000 recipes to help your daily healthy lifestyle and 100 of them are mine! I can’t wait to share more of this project with you all over the next few months.
With 2014 coming to a close, I wanted to share my favorite recipes with you all! I couldn’t pick just one favorite so I picked a few. I would love to see your creations and anything you make in your kitchen. (Tag me on Instagram @caroline__potter or #colorfuleats ). I love getting emails or comments and watching my recipes come to life and spread joy in your kitchen! Your kind words and stories remind me daily of why I do what I do and it means the world to me 🙂 If one of your resolutions this year is to start eating healthy, look at my post on making healthy eating a daily lifestyle!
I have so many exciting projects to share with you in 2015 probably more than I can possibly tackle, but I love what I do and thats the most important!
Happy New Years! Cheers to a fabulous 2015!

“Food and cooking are among the richest subjects in the world. Everyday of our lives they preoccupy, delight and refresh us. For is not just some fuel we need to get us going toward higher things. Cooking is not a drudgery, we put up with in order to get the fuel delivery. Rather each is a heart’s astonishment. Both stop us dead in our tracks with wonder. Even more, they sit us down evening after evening and in the company that forms around our table they actually create our humanity.” Robert Farrar Capon, The Supper of the Lamb

Most difficult moment
Laying in the hospital ICU this past summer feeling like my world was crashing down around me. Although it was a very dark and difficult time in my life, feeling miserable, defeated and hopeless it taught me to passionately share my story and provide encouragement to others that food and nutrition do greatly help our everyday lives! I am thankful for the difficult times as they teach us to lean on each other and give thanks always. Read more of my story and health journey here and here.
